Back to School Rally
The Master's Club, Screven County Sheriff's Office, and Screven County Community Collaborative, Inc. are proud to once again give back to our community!
Join them on Friday, August 1, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Sylvania from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for their annual Back to School Rally.
Students in grades K–8 are invited to come out and receive free school supplies, food, and valuable health information to help kick off the 2025–2026 school year strong.

Christmas Extravaganza
This year’s Christmas Extravaganza “Candycane Lane” will be on December 14th, 2024 from 3-7 pm in Downtown Sylvania, GA. It’s one of our biggest community events of the year—a long-standing Screven County tradition. Visit with Santa, ride the mechanical bull, eat from one of the many food trucks open that evening, and shop at all of our downtown merchants that are open late for this fun holiday event! The event ends with a light parade at 7 pm.
Downtown Fall Festival
The Annual Fall Festival in Downtown Sylvania will be October 25, 2024 from 5-7pm. This fun for all ages family friendly event will have free games and activities for kids, food trucks, local vendors and more!
Daycare Trick-or- Treat
Our local daycares love to participate each year in this fun trick-or-treat adventure in Downtown Sylvania. We encourage all downtown businesses to participate in this event on Friday October 25, 2024 from 10am-12pm.
Nova Music Sylvania Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting
Join the Chamber and Nova Music Sylvania for their grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting on Saturday, August 10th 2024 from 10am-2pm. They will have raffles, prizes, and a food truck.
